Genesis 1:
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Exodus 3:
13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Judges 6:
12 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
15 And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.
16 And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.

Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion
Proverbs 28:1 - ERV
The wicked are afraid of everything, but those who live right are as brave as lions.

The Lord identifies strongly in Scripture with two animals: the eagle and the lion. Both are leaders in their domain. The eagle is the king of the bird kingdom, and the lion is the king of the animal kingdom.

The one thing that separates them from others in their kingdom or habitat is Attitude. They have the same attitudes that God Himself identifies with.

The lion, a great source of encouragement, has the ‘spirit of leadership’... The lion exemplifies ‘standing above the rest’.
We have been given by God that same potential....

The lion is:
1. Not the tallest animal in the jungle
2. Not the largest animal in the jungle
3. Not the heaviest
4. Not the most intelligent - [The elephant brain is very heavy. It weighs in at about 5 kilos or more. Other large mammals, such as rhinos and hippos don’t have that kind of brain size. Scientific research has proven that elephants have the ability to use different objects in creative ways without being taught firsthand. They have been known to clean their food and use tools in various ways in the wild, and they can also follow human commands in captivity; the gorillas and chimpanzees (primates)- Have impressive intellectual abilities and have long fascinated humans. They can make and use tools, hunt collectively, and are capable of advanced problem-solving. They are also able to learn sign language to communicate with humans and can remember the name sign for individuals they have not seen for several years.]

The lion is not taller than the giraffe, larger than the hippo or elephant, or smarter than the primates, the hyena, or the snake... yet when he shows up, they ALL run! The lion cancels all of our excuses for not becoming all that we were called to be.

You don’t need to a certain height or size, a particular intellect or exceptionally gifted. You don’t need to have any outstanding advantage and yet you can be the leader; to you can stand above the crowd, you can win!

With God...with His potential that’s already inside of you, with His spiritual DNA, seeing through the lens of His Word, you can succeed!

What makes the lion so unique?!!!
“An army of sheep led by a lion will always defeat an army of lions led by a sheep!” Leadership can transform cowards into violent warriors. Why would he be able to run things in the grasslands? The lion is king because he has a different attitude and he makes every animal afraid of him. Not that we as people want to be victorious in our endeavors by spewing out fear, but there is a level of respect that is required.
The elephant, giraffes, and hyenas respect the lion.
When the lion looks at the elephant he looks at, “Lunch!” He does not consider his size and weight. He looks at , “Lunch!” Then.....he acts the way he thinks. Because he thinks he can eat the elephant, he attacks him!

The elephant, on the other hand, with all of his size, weight, intelligence, and his power, sees the elephant and thinks, “Eater!” He is a victim of the way he thinks.

Like us, regardless of how well off you are, how many schools you’ve attended, it’s our thinking that keeps us ‘small’.

It doesn’t make a difference as to how small your size, the limitations of your background, what level of intellect. It is your mindset that will ultimately make you a success!

We say, ‘I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me’, but do we picture it in our minds? Can we imagine the victory?
It is the unique attitude that distinguishes the victor from the one who wallows in defeat.

We must get renewed through the living Word, Jesus, everyday, believing Ephesians 3:20 - AMP:
Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us...

The ‘power that works in us’ is how much of the Word we allow to work. How much of this Resurrection Power from the risen Savior will we let reign in us everyday, every hour, every moment?

Your success is based on your belief system. What do you think about life? About yourself?
It is the source of your actions. It determines your response to how you interpret the world around you. It’s is your ‘Attitude Creator’. It is your mental conditioning. You come to church to hear the Word and grow into a different mental and spiritual conditioning. This is when your life changes.
Remember David, Joseph, Joshua and Caleb... They were a success (victors) because of their belief system; their image of God and His Word in their hearts.

Romans 12:2 - NLT
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Joshua 1:8 - NLT
